Pella’s bowling teams both beat Norwalk Saturday at Val Lanes in West Des Moines.

The Little Dutch won 2,722 – 2,411. Christian Manchester rolled a school record game of 266 and added a 218 for a 484 series, the second-best mark in Pella history.

The girls tally was 1,858 – 1,083 against a shorthanded Warrior squad. Naomi Tripp rolled a 153 and 136 for a 289 series, and Sydney Stursma fired a 155 in her second game for the high mark of the day.

Both the Pella girls and boys are 2-0 on the season and will face off against Pella Christian next Saturday at Pella Excit-a-Bowl.
