Pella Boy Scouts Receive Year-End Honors

[1]

Pella Boy Scout Troop 373 held their year-end Court of Honor recently, recognizing the Boy Scouts and their many accomplishments.

Throughout the year, 25 scouts received nearly 200 awards, including more than 130 merit badges. Four scouts earned the highest award – Eagle Scout; Ben Anschutz, Colton Edwards, Isaiah Martin, and Christian Williams.

The Pella Scouts are among the most active and productive in central Iowa. They earn the Scouting Journey to Excellence Gold Level each year, which includes program, planning, membership and adult volunteers. The group is very active in the outdoors; camping outside 10 of 12 months, attending a week-long summer camp near Omaha, and 10-day High Adventure trip to New Mexico.
