The Pella Convention & Visitors Bureau is elated with the numbers following this year’s 55th Pella Christmas Tour of Homes.

According to CVB Director Jill Vandevoort, 3242 tickets were sold for the annual tour, a 475 ticket increase over last year’s sales. She says weather played a huge role in their success. The CVB’s estimated impact of dollars left in local businesses from this year’s Christmas Tour calculates to be well over $700,000. The CVB Board of Directors will now be looking at opportunities of “giving back” with funds that have been collected from the event. Vandevoort says they are also now in search of homes to serve as hosts for the 2018 Christmas Tour.
