After a pair of blowouts against Melcher-Dallas on Tuesday, both Pleasantville Trojan basketball squads maintained their perfect home record last night against Wayne with the girls winning 58-38 and the boys 49-33.

The Trojan girls saw 12 girls total hit the scoresheet led by Kelsee Van Haalen and her 21 points to go along with 8 steals and 6 assists. Madyson Thill scored 9 points, and Jordan Dursky added 7 points and 13 rebounds. The Trojan boys were quick to start off, getting an 11-1 lead before scoring slowed down in the second. They were once again balanced with Grant Fouch and Gauge Van Haalen leading the team with 10 points each, with Owen Worthington scoring 9. Head Coach Joel Allman told KNIA/KRLS Sports, that the team is built around not having a go-to player and that they are still working on how to play around that. The Trojan girls move to 2-1 on the season and the boys to 2-0, and both teams will host Interstate-35 on Tuesday.
