After months of planning the “Puttin on the Ritz” New Year’s Variety Show in Knoxville is less than a month away.

On December 30th people are invited to a night out to see what talents Marion County has to offer. Dawn Flattery with the show tells KNIA/KRLS News the night begins with a social hour at 5:45 p.m. with the show starting at 7 p.m. Flattery says door prizes will be given away during the show with a few surprises in store that only people who attend will know about. She says she is uber excited for the show which they have been planning since March and is looking forward to the community coming out to the event and supporting the arts. Tickets for just the show are $15 for adults, $25 for a couple, with students costing $10 for one student and $15 for two. If residents wish to attend both the social hour and show, tickets are $20 for adults, $35 for couples, $15 for one student and $25 for two students. Tickets will be available for purchase at both the Iowa State Savings Bank and Grand Theater in Knoxville. “Puttin on the Ritz” is a fundraiser for the Knoxville Music Boosters.
