The family and friends of a Sully girl who died of a rare blood disease are helping to make sure her legacy lives on.
The 7th annual blood drive in memory of Megan Hoogeveen, a 2011 graduate of Pella Christian, will be held at Pella Christian High School on Friday, December 29th from 2:00 to 7:00 PM.
Her father Mike Hoogeveen tells KNIA/KRLS News he also plans to sell copies of his book “Words I Could Not Speak” to raise funds to support Megan’s Legacy and research of the rare blood disease that took her life in 2011.
