The Pella High boys and girls bowling teams are both 3-1 to start the season, and consistency has been a key to the good start for each.

Starting with the girls, coach Mike Norman says that it’s been a real team effort.

“Their scores have been right there in a nice, good, solid performance week in and week out. We’ve definitely had some of the returning players step up and have shown a vast improvement from last year, which is great.”

On the boys’ side, the individual high game record was broken in back-to-back meets earlier this year, and Norman says that the key to the teams’ ultimate success will be some of the other bowlers stepping up to join that top pack.

Both Pella bowling squads are off until January 13th at home against Knoxville.
