Pella Christian Football Head Coach Rich Kacmarynski was selected as Regional Coach of the Year in Class 1A Football.

The announcement made Tuesday named the 12 coaches honored in all classes from 8 player to 4A.

Kacmarynski led the Eagles to their best-ever football season, marking the program’s first trip to the UNI Dome to finish in the 1A semifinals. Pella Christian also completed their second straight undefeated regular season and finished 10-1.
