For the second straight game, the Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad will be playing in a game that has major South Central Conference implications riding on it. Tonight, if the girls can beat Centerville, the Panthers will have the conference championship all to themselves. Knoxville pulled off what is now being called The Comeback on Tuesday when they were trailing Eddyville-Blakesburg by ten with a 1:53 remaining only to win by three points 68-65. Coach Jim Uitermarkt knows he does not have to tell his girls how much is riding on tonight’s game. The boys look to finish off conference play in second place after falling to Eddyville on Tuesday. The Panthers sit at 8-9 on the season. You can hear the call on AM 1320 and 95.3 KNIA and kniakrls.com starting at 6:15. Also, tune in between games to hear the Knoxville Athletic Hall of Fame Induction ceremonies.
