A Knoxville man was arrested Wednesday following a fight with a neighbor.

According to court documents, just after 1 a.m. Wednesday morning the Knoxville Police Department responded to a report of a physical altercation between neighbors in the 100 block of East Douglas Street. Upon arrival the victim told police his neighbor, 22-year-old Colter Fisher, had knocked on his door and when the victim went to open the door Fisher pushed his way inside. The victim told police Fisher then began assaulting him. The victim stated that Fisher had bit his thumb during the assault which broke the skin and law enforcement officers witnessed blood on the victim’s thumb as well as redness and abrasions to the victim’s head. Fisher told police he had knocked on the victims door to discuss ongoing problems. Fisher stated that the victim clenched his fist and that was when he pushed his way into the residence. Fisher stated to police that his anger might have got the best of him. Fisher was arrested and charged with burglary 1st degree a class B felony.
