The Melcher-Dallas Basketball Squads get a jump on most of the area tonight with a double header at Iowa Christian. The boys come in after going 4-2 in the November and December, which is their best start since the 2010/2011 season. Coach Jim Wells believes they need to keep their turnovers down as one key to success. Wells ads free throw shooting needs to improve especially in end of game situations. The Saints will take on a 1-4 Iowa Christian team that has not scored more than 40 points in a game this season. For the girls, the Saints will play a winless Trailblazer team that had to postpone an earlier game with the Saints due to low numbers. The girls will tip-off at six at Iowa Christian.
