The Nevada Cubs will make an appearance in Monroe tonight as the PCM Mustang boys and girls basketball teams will host a Heart of Iowa Conference doubleheader.

The Mustang boys team is in the hunt for a conference title, and will have to hold their home court against a Cubs team whose only conference losses have been to title contenders South Hamilton, Greene County, and the Mustangs who took care of business on the road in December 66-42. On the girls side, the 6th ranked Cubs suffered their first conference loss since the 2014/15 season in their last game against North Polk, which is also the last time they have lost two games in a row. The girls are coming off a win over Saydel, and also planning on starting their first winning streak of the season. Action starts tonight in Monroe at 6pm.
