The Raiders of Mount Ayr swept the Pleasantville Trojans on their home court last night in Pride of Iowa Conference action, the girls falling 67-43, while the boys fell 63-42.

The Trojan girls survived one big run by the Raiders near the start of the game and came back to pull it close, but a second huge run right before halftime gave the Raiders an insurmountable lead going into the break. Kelsee Van Haalen scored 16 points on the night, while Jessica Remster, Jordan Dursky, and Madyson Thill all had 6 points.

On the boys side, their second half scoring woes from Central Decatur on Tuesday followed them home, as the Trojans had a 1 point lead at halftime but fell by 21. Gauge Van Haalen led the squad in scoring with 9, and Devon Dursky had 8.

The Trojan girls fall to 5-9, the boys to 9-4, and both teams will step out of conference play on Monday hosting Clarke.
