It was a win and a loss for the boy’s squads in the Bluegrass Conference Tournament last night. The Twin Cedars boys celebrated their second win of the season by blasting Iowa Christian 48-23. Nick Haselhuhn dropped in 15 points to lead the Sabers. Coach Troy Pearson told KNIA/KRLS Sports it was by far a great defensive effort. The Sabers have a whole week to prepare for Melcher-Dallas. The aforementioned Saints fell in the quarterfinals to Murray last night 65-52. Paul Karpan scored 15 points to lead Melcher-Dallas who drop to the consolation round and host Moulton-Udell on Thursday.
