The 2018 Iowa High School State Wrestling Tournament has come to an end.

Twelve area wrestlers took the trip to the Wells Fargo Arena for a chance to be named one of the best high school wrestlers in the state. Out of the twelve, one would be named a state champion. Lucas Roland of PCM would win the class 2A 170 pound state title on a 5-1 decision over Kolton Bartow of Dubuque Wahlert. Three other area wrestlers would finish the final day on the podium. PCM’s Colby Tool at 138 pounds and Wes Cummings at 160 pounds would both finish in 4th place. Chaz Clark of Pleasantville would also finish on the podium as he took home 7th place in the 220 pound class 1A bracket.
