All they need to do is win. A win over Wartburg by the Central men’s basketball team today will put Central into the Iowa Conference postseason tournament that starts next week.

It will not be an easy task; the Knights trumped the Dutch, 80 – 65 back on January 3, and are winners of three of their last four. There is incentive for the postseason-bound Knights; a win would secure them a first-round home playoff game versus Simpson on Tuesday. Coach Craig Douma tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that his team can’t worry about the rest of the league, and need to focus on taking care of business today versus the Knights.
Central’s women will try to close out the 2017-18 season with a huge upset win over Wartburg’s ladies. The Knights are ranked second in the country and are undefeated coming into play. Today is senior night inside of P.H. Kuyper for the Dutch, and you can hear the play-by-play live on 92.1 KRLS, KNIAKRLS.com, and via our KRLS mobile app. Cory Houser will call the action starting with the PellaMotors.com Radio Pregame Show at 1:45 p.m., with tip-off of the women’s game at 2:00.
