A round of freezing rain may coat the area with ice overnight President’s Day into Tuesday morning.

According to the National Weather Service, between .1” and .2” of icing is possible during that time–, as well as breezy winds that may knock down tree branches or power lines if they become ice covered. Travel is expected to be hazardous, especially Tuesday morning. A Winter Storm Watch is in place from 6 p.m. Monday night through Tuesday at noon.
