The Pleasantville Trojan boys basketball season came to a close on Thursday night in a 58-37 to #2 Van Meter, and with that loss the squad will lose a lot of contributors to graduation.

A senior class of nine, including Owen Worthington, Gauge Van Haalen, Josh Pulse, Kyle Amendt, Jacob Wicks, Brant Wilkins, Caleb Adreon, Devon Dursky, and Tavian Muniz. Those nine combined for 45 of the 53 points per game scored by the Trojans, and leaves only one starter in Grant Fouch. Fouch, along with freshman guard Caylor Clark, were the only underclassmen to see significant minutes in the 2017-18 season, leaving a big void in the rebounding numbers as well. The Trojans went 17-6 this season, and a full season recap with head coach Joel Allman can be heard on the Knoxville Hy-Vee Radio Coaches Corner in the coming weeks.
