In a rematch of last year’s 2A State quarterfinals round and a increasingly traditional non-conference matchup, the Van Meter and Pella Christian boys basketball teams clashed at Eagle Lane Saturday.

Unfortunately for the Eagles, it was a lopsided affair with the No. 2 in Class 2A Bulldogs dominating in a 52-30 Pella Christian loss. The Eagles fall to 6-13 overall, and return to conference action Tuesday when they hit the road to Dallas Center-Grimes.
