Yesterday was National Signing Day. The day that many college football prospects signed their name on National Letters of Intent to play at colleges all over the nation. While the five-star recruits got all of the national attention, many players also choose to sign with NAIA schools. One such player was Knoxville’s Jacob Zuck, who put pen to paper and signed with William Penn University yesterday. The record breaking Panther quarterback, who led his team to a 5-4 record and broke six school records this season told KNIA/KRLS Sports the recruitment process by William Penn Coach Todd Hafner and the rest of the team sold Zuck on the Statesmen. Zuck says he will take this fall to learn the triple-option offense that William runs, which he says is not totally different from the Wing-T he played at Knoxville.
