Students at the Knoxville High School will be packing over 50,000 meals for Meals from the Heartland tomorrow.

Knoxville High School Agriculture Teacher and FFA Advisor Tiffany Johnston told KNIA/KRLS News that every student who attends Knoxville High School will be involved with the packaging due to a schedule where every grade level will spend an hour involved in the process in an assembly line set-up. The event begins in the Knoxville Performing Arts Center at 8:20 a.m. with an assembly to explain the process and recognize any donations, then packaging will run through 2:30 p.m.

The Knoxville FFA is still taking donations and recruiting volunteers for the event, learn more by contacting Tiffany Johnston via email at tiffany.johnston@kcsd.k12.ia.us or call her at (641) 842-2173(school). For more information on Meals from the Heartland, listen to today’s Let’s Talk Knoxville.
