Pella’s boys basketball team had to bounce back against the No. 1 team in 3A Basketball Tuesday after a tough end to the conference season last week.

The Little Dutch fell to Mt. Pleasant 72-62 on their home floor last night. They hung tough with the high-octane Panthers, as they were only outscored by a combined three points in the 1st, 3rd, and 4th quarters. Nick DeJong scored 23 points and collected 11 rebounds, Ryan Gustafson dropped 19 points, and Landon Vander Leest tacked on 10. Pella begins the playoffs Monday in Carlisle when they take on Chariton in the Class 3A Substate 6 bracket. Tune into 92.1 KRLS all postseason long for live coverage of Pella Postseason Basketball.
