The Pleasantville Trojan boys basketball team upset the Pride of Iowa Conference contending Bedford Bulldogs last night on the road, demolishing the Bulldogs 74-52.

The girls also took down the Bulldogs winning 48-28. The boys squad played perhaps their best all around game of the season, being aggressive on offense and using pressure defense to pick up the win. Gauge Van Haalen led the way with 18 points, and Owen Worthington had 17. On the girls side, the Trojans dominated from start to finish, and have now won 5 of their last six games. Kelsee Van Haalen led the way with 18, and bring their record to .500 on the season at 10-10. The boys improve to 14-5, and both teams will next play on Monday against Southeast Warren.
