Today is Kick Butts Day, a national day of activism that empowers youth to stand out, speak up and seize control against Big Tobacco.

Marion County Public Health is raising awareness for Kick Butts Day by decorating the fence of Ken Locke Stadium in Knoxville alongside Larson St. to help their anti-smoking campaign. Venessa Stalter with Marion County Public Health tells KNIA/KRLS News she wants this campaign to help grow the representation in Marion County and she wants people to know they can reach out to Marion County Public Health if they need help or information on how to quit smoking. Stalter went on to say that those who want to quit smoking should start by focusing on the reasons why they want to quit, and what is important to them as a starting point.
