For many years, the Pride of Iowa Conference has been dominated by Mt. Ayr in track and field. Pleasantville Girls Coach Aaron Fichter tells KNIA/KRLS Sports, that may not change this year, but he hopes his team can be more competitive after last season’s fifth place finish. Fichter says last year, the race for second place was separated by six points. He says his depth will help score a few more points and maybe move his team up in the standings.
