Pella Christian Volleyball Standout Bekah Horstman has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College next fall.

A 6’1” outside/middle hitter who played three years for the Eagles, Horstman earned all-state honors twice, finishing with 924 career kills. Horstman says Northwestern was her top choice because of the comfort level she already has with the program.

“The minute I stepped on campus, I mean, it just felt like home,” she says. “The professors there are very helpful, since I’m going into nursing, they’ve been helping me go around campus and see what they have for programs there.”

She joins her older sister Andrea (A.J.), who will be a junior starter for the Red Raiders this fall.

“The idea of playing with Andrea again is very comforting, and I’ve made friends with the team there.”

A.J. was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association all-West Central Region in 2017 and has had over 300 kills in each of her first two seasons.
