The future is bright for the Pella bowling programs after another successful season.

Head Coach Mike Norman remains optimistic after the girls and boys have had their best seasons to date under the now three-year-old program.

Norman says his entire starting rotation on the boys side are all underclassmen and look to contend to be a state-ready team next winter. While the girls will lose some talent and great senior contributors, Norman says the youth numbers are improving.

“We’ve got some good girls coming up, we had two freshmen and hopefully some more girls coming in next year and some coming up as freshmen again next year,” he says. “The girl’s program will continue to grow.”

Pella’s boys finished just short of a state appearance after taking 3rd in their substate, but sent individual Reid Miller, who finished in 21st place. The Lady Dutch won their first four games this year, a program record
