Two local standout athletes were named to the Iowa Girls Coaches Association All-State Basketball Teams.

Emily Holterhaus of Pella and Katie Keitges of Knoxville were each selected to the Class 4A second team. Holterhaus is no stranger to all-state recognition, as she has received honors for three years in volleyball, including first-team honors in 2016 and 2017. Keitges and Holterhaus also landed on the Iowa Sports Press Writers Association Third Team.
