The Central College wrestling team had four athletes garner all-Iowa Conference distinction after their performances at the NCAA Division III Lower Midwest Regional last Saturday All-conference honors were handed out to the top-three finishers amongst league competitors at the NCAA Division III Central Regional meet that took place on February 25.

C.J. Pestano was the runner-up at 125 pounds after taking a medical forfeit in the title bout. Jeremy Vester and Nathan Fritz both won third-place matches at 165 and 174 pounds, respectively. Pestano, Vester and Fritz all advance to the 2018 NCAA Division III Championships, to be held in Cleveland, Ohio on March 9 and 10.
