Knoxville Boys Golf Sweeps Triangular; Girls Fall To Clarke In Season Opener

The Knoxville Boys Golf Squad won a triangular over West Central Valley and Clarke yesterday at Pine Knolls Golf Course. The Panthers scored a 161 while Clarke had a 198 and West Central Valley shot a 203. Tyler Vaske was medalist with a 35 while Ryan Davis was runner up with a 37. The girls fell to Clarke in a heads up dual 227-292. Maddi Graves was low score for Knoxville with a 64. Coach Barry Smith tells KNIA/KRLS Sports they will continue to work on the short game in preparation for their next meet on Tuesday. The Panthers will travel to play in a triangular with Carlisle and Clarke at Warrior Run Golf Course on Tuesday.
