Local FFA students competed in the Career Development Events leadership district contest in Grinnell over the weekend.

Camryn Norton and Kayla Beyer of Pella and Knoxville’s Chapter Program team of Mickayla McGill, Makenzie Varner, and Cole Murphy advanced to state. McGill was also elected as Vice President of the South Central Region.

Makenzie Varner and Megan Moore of Knoxville and Jordyn Sanders, Nick Haselhaun, Payton Kelderman, Logan Anderson, and Hannah Jerkins of Twin Cedars received the Academic Achievement Award as well.
