Marion County residents wanting to learn more about gardening have the opportunity to do so this spring.

The Marion County Extension Office has their spring workshop programs beginning in late March, starting with the Japanese art of Kokedama Hanging Plants, which are moss balls that support a tree or plant. The other workshops will be a Seed Party workshop, and a Sun/Shade and Pollinator Container Garden. Lauren Peterson with the Marion County Extension tells KNIA/KRLS News the workshops will have all materials provided, and you can leave the workshop with the final product to take home and copy in your own garden.
