The freshman class at Melcher-Dallas made it mark this winter as the girls basketball squad made a marked improvement in the wins category. Many of those same girls will now try to make their mark in track and field this spring. Co-Coach Amy Stuart tells KNIA/KRLS talent, numbers and experience from middle school will help the freshmen grow into varsity spots this spring. The Saints first meet is still a few weeks away as the season will get underway April fifth at I-35.
