Numbers for the Melcher-Dallas Girls Track Program are up this season. After not having a team in 2016, the Saints fielded only eight participants last season, and Co-Coach Amy Stuart has seen that number grow to 12 in 2018. She along with co-coach Hayli Crozier tells KNIA/KRLS Sports it start with the distance events and one girl who already knows a little about success. Freshmen Grace Overgaard and Haley Godfrey are slotted in the discus and shot put events, and sprinter Dora Bennett are some of the girls that will likely contend for conference titles this season.
