Recent Pella Christian softball alumna have had fast starts in their careers at the next level over the early part of the collegiate season.

Former Pella Christian ace pitcher Emma Schnell has been a key contributor for the Northwestern Red Raiders in the early goings of the season. The freshman from Sully is 6-1 in the circle in her seven complete games on the mound, striking out 44 to just eight walks, and at the plate hitting .416 with 4 home runs.

Her battery partner as an Eagle over the past three summers is also enjoying early success, as Lizzy Van Manen is hitting at a .417 with 12 runs scored as the starting catcher for Northeast Mississippi Community College.

Natalie Vos has found some success as a pitcher at Dordt College, as she has struck out 20 batters in 23.2 innings with a 1.18 ERA for the Defenders.
