Two moratoriums are on the agenda of the Pella City Council at their meeting this evening.

A pair of resolutions are under consideration: one would stop the issuance of house building permits in the Oskaloosa Street corridor from Main to East 3rd until new economic development plans can be drawn up, and the other prevents fireworks sales in the city limits until all revisions to the zoning ordinance are complete.

The council will hold a public hearing to review bids received for the Sunken Garden Windmill Renovation. A resolution to reject the only bid on the project is up for consideration.

Following regular business, council will receive a presentation about a proposed ordinance for microbreweries from the PACE Alliance.

The regular meeting begins at 7:00 this evening in the Public Safety Complex.
