Recent temperature fluctuations and precipitation has made repairing the damage to Marion County roads caused by winter weather harder to repair.

Marion County Engineer Tyler Christian tells KNIA/KRLS News to fix potholes, the road department needs the pavement to be dry and with all the rain and snow as of late, repair work is slow. He went on to say drivers should take extra care on gravel roads as this is the time of year that frost comes out of the ground and can possibly create a collapse or hole in the road three or four feet deep. If residents notice any damage or wish to get a road repaired, they should contact the Marion County Road Department office.
