Your Life Matters, Knoxville’s Suicide Prevention Task Force, is hosting their next town hall meeting tomorrow.

A presentation will be made by Bob VandePol with Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services, an organization that provides counseling, addiction treatment, and crisis response services among many others. VandePol tells KNIA/KRLS News that “there is no shame in asking for help because contrary to many beliefs asking for help is not a sign of weakness, it is a sign of strength and most people don’t ask for help because they are afraid of what people might think, and overcoming that is a huge step.” The presentation at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center beginning at 6:30pm. The event is free of charge and open to everyone of all ages.
