The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Red Rock are hosting a spring wildflower walk during Tulip Time.

A park ranger will lead a walk along a woodland trail to look for the signs of spring in Iowa. Park Ranger Tracy Spry says they will be searching for a variety of wildflowers, especially those with a short bloom time. The program is free of charge and no registration is required. The wildflower walks will be held at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 5th at the South Tailwater Recreation Area.
