While the PCM boys’ golf and girls’ track enjoyed home meets on Monday, the girls’ golf and boys’ track will have their chance tonight with both hosting meets.

The PCM girls’ golf will look to cap off a productive week coming off a seventh place finish in a loaded Ames meet on Monday and a second place finish in Ottumwa on Tuesday. Madeline Mitchell and Sabrina Reed have developed into a strong one-two punch with Mitchell having a top 10 finish on Monday and Reed garnering meet medalist honors on Tuesday. The Mustangs welcome eight other schools to town for an 18-hole meet that gets started at 1 p.m.

Before a few runners hit the Blue Oval on Friday for the Drake Relays, PCM boys track will enjoy their home track for the first time this season. The Mustangs have been nothing short of remarkable through a month into the year with three meet titles on the resume. Despite sitting their Drake Relay qualifiers on Tuesday, the Mustangs still finished second at Eddyville-Blakesburg led by top finishes from Wes Cummings in the 200m dash and Payton Strovers in the long jump. The meet will also feature area schools Knoxville, Pleasantville, Melcher-Dallas, and Twin Cedars. It all gets started at 4:30 p.m. at PCM High School.
