The PCM soccer teams were back in action Tuesday night and came away with a split.

After falling in three overtime games, the Mustang boys’ were able to break through for their first win of the season beating Chariton on the road 3-1. Drew Johnson broke a scoreless tie by finding the back of the net with 13 minutes to go in the first half. The Mustangs found insurance in the second half with goals from Noah Hirayama and Brayden Cheshire to seize the win. PCM improves to 1-4 on the season and will get back on the pitch Friday at Collins-Maxwell-Baxter.

The Mustang girls’ were coming off a 9-0 shutout win last week, but was on the other side of a shutout last night losing to Des Moines Christian 7-0. PCM falls to 1-2 on the young season and travels to CMB on Thursday.
