Three of the top ten teams in class 3A squared off in a seven-team field at the Washington Demon Invite Saturday, with Pella placing 2nd.

The No. 6 Little Dutch, at 324 strokes, fell seven short of the host Demons, who are ranked 4th. No. 10 Oskaloosa carded a 337. Pella was led by Senior Blaise Winegardner shooting a season low 76. Sophomore Luke Galeazzi had 80, Sophomore Trey Wood shot 82, and Sophomore John Oltman came in at 86. Fessler tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the Washington meet was a great way to get set for what promises to be a week ahead that will continue to be filled with some of the best golfers in the area.

Pella is 19-3 overall and returns to action Tuesday and head to Oskaloosa Tuesday.
