After last week’s weather canceled the season opening week at the Knoxville Raceway, it looks like sprint cars will be on the track tonight for take two of the 65th Season Opening Races at the Knoxville Raceway. Around 50 cars took laps last night at practice night led by a :14.779 lap from 410 driver Davey Heskin. All three classes will be running tonight to a triple header of action in the 410, 360, and 305 classes will be racing. A reminder to race fans that the Knoxville Raceway has moved up start times for tonight’s action. Hot laps will start at 5:30, while racing is at 6:45. That means our coverage on AM 1320 and 95.3 KNIA and at kniakrls.com will be adjusted. Live Track Side will hit the air at the normal time of five, followed by Race Night’s Live at 6:45, which is 15 minutes earlier than normal so we can give your flag to flag coverage.
