There was just one automatic qualifier from the class 1A Central Decatur meet last night from the area that will run at the State Meet. That was Twin Cedars’ Nick Haselhuhn in the 400. Coach Aaron Allspach told KNIA/KRLS there may be a few other qualifiers that will make it in as wildcards. For Melcher-Dallas, there were several second place finishers but no automatic qualifiers for state for both boys and girls. Co-Coach Amy Stuart is confident a few of those runners-up will be able to qualify.
