Two area schools will duke it out on the pitch today when the PCM girls’ soccer team travels to face off with Knoxville.

The Panthers (4-6) will look to bounce back after a 3-1 loss to Collins-Maxwell on Thursday. Tori Dye is putting together an impressive senior campaign, as she is second in the South Central Conference with seven goals on the year. PCM (3-6) had a big win against Centerville on Thursday 9-0. Head Coach Bill Sowder told KNIA/KRLS Sports the team has been close in many games, just haven’t finished and they were able to do that against Centerville in a big way.

The area matchup gets started at 5 p.m. today at Ken Locke Stadium in Knoxville.
