The Avenue of Flags will go up at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville tomorrow morning, and stay up for Memorial Day to remember those who have served in the country’s armed forces, or relatives of those who have served, and passed away.

More than 250 flags will be raised, with a 21-gun salute and the playing of taps following the raising ceremony at 7am. Those wishing to volunteer can go to Graceland Cemetery for the event, or contact the Marion County Veterans Affairs Office.
