The Knoxville City Council met in regular session yesterday.

Mayor Brian Hatch read proclamations recognizing National EMS Week and National Public Works Week. The council held a public hearing on a development agreement with 3M Company and approved a resolution on for the public match portion the 3M expansion project, as well as an amendment on the 2015 Urban Renewal Project. The council also passed a resolution confirming a 2% increase in sanitary user charges for the 2018-19 fiscal year, accepted Jeffery Carlson as a reserve officer with the Knoxville Police Department, and approved a partnership with Marion County on a seal-coat project for a shared road, among other items.
