A credit card machine at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center was recently discovered to have malfunctioned, leading to many charges failing to process until now.

Knoxville Community School District Business Manager Craig Mobley tells KNIA/KRLS News no one has been charged twice, it was just took longer to show up on any statement as there was a problem with the machine where it was recording all transactions properly, it just was not being closed out properly so it did not send any of that information to the credit card companies. Mobley also stressed the fact that no card was charged anything extra. The charges would have mainly been for any school function that required a ticket purchase, such as the musical or play.
