The Knoxville Baseball Squad was stopped by Centerville’s pitching last night and was unable to get any offense going in a 3-0 loss to the Big Reds. The Panthers got runners at second base three times but no farther…while Centerville played small ball to build its lead. Panthers Coach Matt Miller tells KNIA/KRLS Sports his team will work on trying to get better at the plate. Ben Wallace took the loss going five innings giving up two runs on seven hits…two walks and two strikeouts. Knoxville falls to 2-4 on the season and 2-1 in the South Central Conference. The Panthers are off until Thursday when they travel to Gilbert.
