As playoff time nears closer, the PCM girls’ soccer team will look to be in postseason form, as they go up against Heart of Iowa Conference leading Gilbert.

The Mustangs (3-6) played Knoxville tough on Monday, but ultimately fell in a defensive battle 2-1. McKeeley Tjaden has been a big reason for the defensive success, leading the conference in saves with 86. Gilbert (9-2) also knows something about defense, as they have only allowed four goals on the year. Emily Branson is a player to look out for with 11 goals to lead the Tigers.

All of the action gets started at 4:30 p.m. today at PCM Middle School.
